2008 Culbertson Baptist Church Softball Team

The Culberston Baptist Church softball team finished the 2008 Anderson Park Field #2 regular season with a 5-5 record. After winning their first tournament game, CBC fell just short of the championship game after suffering a hard fought 8-1 loss to Northside. Though this was an average season by CBC standards, the addition of new players has made this season a success.

The 2008 season was filled with many ups and downs, but regardless it was a chance for the veterans of this team to welcome several newcomers to the joy of fellowship that extended well past our santuary's walls.

We would like to thank and congratulate all of the members of the softball team for coming out and showing once again, that even with a less than spectacular year, that CBC is still a one of the teams to beat. We would also like to give a huge THANK YOU to Coach Barden Wing for all of his support and leadership throughout this year.

Though this ends our softball season, it is now our chance to heal what aches us and prepare our minds and spirits for what lies ahead. We can now take time to look back at what we achieved, where we faultered and look forward to once again competing next year for the glory of our Lord.
