With 1,000 new students and 400 dorm residents arriving in August we ahve a great opportunity to share God's love. We are planning outreache, a cookout, worship & Bible study, and move-in-help activities. Email the pastor if you want to help. New Wednesday Night Small Groups: The Summer Series on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM Lose It for Life led by Janice Downey. It continues its 18 week course in the Pathfinders room. Intensive Study of Acts led by Dr Darrell James in the Faithlifters room Christians & Their Environment led by Nora Newman and visiting speakers and meets in the Basic room. This is an exploration of how we can better care for the world God has given us and be better managers of the world's resources. CBC is staffed by several professional ministers and or leaders. Our pastor holds a PhD in New Testament studies. Our minister to families with children is also seminary trained. Our minister to families with youth is an IUS grad and licensed by our church for the gospel ministry. Our music and worship minister is also a teacher of music at a local high school. We give God thanks for their gifts and skills. The church has Sunday School classes for all ages (and sizes!). The youth group meets on Wednesday nights and Sunday nights (also Sunday School). There are various study groups, ministry service oriented groups and prayer groups, which are not always published to the web. Please contact the church secretary using the email link.
