CBC is a warm and vibrant church where the message of God's love is not only preached faithfully, but also put into practice in various ways. Our philosophy and practicum to is be the presence of Jesus in a world that needs love. We believe our pastor, Dr Darrell James, is a faithful model of a Christian who cares, is compassionate, and strives to become a more loving person in word and in deed on a daily basis. As a result, we believe our church is full of people on the same journey of love and faith.

Each Sunday morning our pastor has a beautifully crafted sermon tempered by the Holy Spirit, which is not only sound in doctrine and spiritual, but helpful, and sometimes even hilarious. Darrell is great at spontaneous interaction and humor; this is one of his charming qualities as a credible speaker. His children's sermons which thematically coincide with the congregational sermon are well received by the little guys and gals each week.
